Car parking is very limited in Pitlochry. A recent local development has decreased parking availability for 2026, so we strongly encourage participants to plan alternative arrangements.
- Each parking space costs £8 + booking fee per car (price subject to increase).
- Parking is available on event day only - no overnight parking is permitted.
- Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis and must be booked in advance.
The car park is at the Pitlochry Recreation Ground on Ferry Rd and will be clearly signed from the A9. The postcode is PH16 5DD. If you have not purchased parking in advance there is no opportunity to pay on the day this year, so please make alternative arrangements.
If you are staying nearby, we highly recommend cycling to the start line.
Road closures and parking suspensions occur in Pitlochry and surrounding areas as a result of the event taking place. Please note, Police and Traffic Wardens will patrol the parking suspensions throughout the event and vehicles parked illegally will be ticketed. If participants intend to drive to the event they must park in the event car park, clearly signposted when you arrive in Pitlochry.
